Zane looked at the two figures in front of him and Katrina. A clown, and some rude tempered girl who thought he was an Akuma. "You obviously have never seen an exorcist." He said holstering the revolver.

"An exorcist? Cool! I like him already!" Kloun shouted, spinning around in circles. "You like everybody, idiot. Maybe if we can keep a close enough eye on the two, we can take him to little master, and he can decide whether I'll rip their heads off or not." Erna growled, keeping menacing eyes pointed at Katrina's nervous face. Kloun pondered the idea for a moment, eventually nodding. "Yes, little master would know what to do!" He hummed, cartwheeling back inside the manor. "I guess it would be nice to leave the cold behind for a moment or so, right Zane?" Katrina asked with a small smile, unaware that Erna's eyes were still fixed on her neck.
Erna suddenly grabbed Katrina by her collar, and began to drag her inside, regardless of whether her legs would try to follow. "Uh... Zane?" The exorcist stumbled a little as she was pulled inside. "Do you have to tug like that! I can move on my own!" Katrina objected, but the porcelain like figure ignored her. "Come inside before you freeze to death, you're obviously not used to the weather here." Erna hissed, glaring at Zane once more. Kloun chuckled and sighed, then held the door open for everyone. "Please don't mind her, she's always that way. Do come inside, you might enjoy a good break and a meal. Little master's sure to like you when he hears of how you took care of the Akuma so quickly." He offered, trying to seem friendly to Zane.

Zane watched as Katrina was dragged into the house by the rude female porcelein looking girl. This was very strange. But there was rarely anything that was not normal in the world. He followed them inside and sped up so he was beside Katrina and the girl. "She can walk, stop dragging her." he said looking at the girl. "You gotta name?"

"You may call me Erna, and the freak behind you is Kloun. Don't expect any more from me." The girl growled, her eyes narrowing at Zane. "Don't worry, she's always that grumpy. It's not that there's anything wrong with you, she's just a jerk." Kloun shut the door as he spoke, creating a decent barrier between the people and the chill outside. "I wonder where little master is, he'd be shocked to know that there's guests! Do you think he's upstairs with his father?" Kloun asked Erna, hoping to get a more friendly response from the girl, but to no avail. "Check upstairs, I'll watch these pitiful people." She snarled, finally releasing Katrina.
Katrina gave a sigh now that she was free, and backed slowly away from the girl that had dragged her. Kloun wasted no time in disappearing up the stairs to avoid any more awkward conversation. "Is it just me, or are these people incredibly strange?" She whispered quietly, but Erna heard anyway, and she gave a rather odd laugh. "I'm nothing like you, I assure you. I'm far better." Erna retorted quickly, earning a grimace from Katrina. She would have said more, but Kloun reappeared with their master.
"I have him! He was upstairs, watching through the window! This is Aleks, our master! I hope you don't mind, he's a little short of words at the moment." Kloun weakly explained as he and a short boy decended down the stairs. Aleks quickly looked over the guests before taking a seat at one of the old tables, looking at the exorcists expecting some sort of explanation. "I think he'd like to know why you're here?" Kloun asked, hoping to pry for his friend's stead.

"We're here to investigate possible innocence sightings in the area." He said looking at the boy. "If you know of Akuma, then you should know innocence." He looked at the girl that had been glaring at him. "Your not human. Your skin is strange. Katrina, didn't you feel it when being dragged." He looked at Aleks. "Sorry for interrupting you."

The boy's face hardly changed as he listened to Zane speak, it was as if he had seen the reaper come to his house earlier that day. He stared off at Kloun, who almost seemed to know what he wanted to say, and Kloun turned back to Zane. "Well, to put it frank, Erna and I aren't human, we're dolls created by our little master." Kloun began to explain, but Erna cut him off. "I don't trust them, why are you telling them this?!" She growled, but he shrugged. "Little master trusts them, so you should be quiet and let me talk, yeah?" Kloun said with a smile before he continued his explanation. "If you're looking for the innocence, you can't have it. It's what keeps Erna and me alive, at least until we get true bodies of our own." He said grimly, hoping the exorcists were not here to steal Aleks's ability away.
"We're not here to take anything, we're here to help. Soon enough, as more and more Akuma realize the presence of the innocence, this place will be crawling with the Earl's minions. He'll never stop until Aleks has made it to the Black Order, our safe haven." Katrina explained, still rubbing her neck. "And yeah, I felt it alright, it was like one of my grandmother's old porcelain dolls had decided to pick me up and walk away." She continued, earning yet another glare from Erna. "Just because we're dolls does not mean that you pathetic people can just do as you please. We're stronger than you, I'd like to see you try to get away with something." Erna scouled, and Katrina sighed. "I just said, we're not here for your powers. We're just here to help."

Zane listened closely to the dolls. So, they were the innocence accommodation and Aleks was the controller. No wonder these dolls knew so much about Akuma. They were living innocence entities. He shot a look at Erna. "Stronger maybe, but not very wise. The longer you stay here the faster you'll fall."

"Fall? That can't be good! Maybe we should listen, they might be able to help us!" Kloun blurted out, but Erna objected quickly. "Help us? What about Aleks's father? He has no power of his own, so he will be left behind! Not to mention the lonely widow that lives in the manor next to us, we can't leave them behind to follow these weirdos." She hissed, but Kloun laughed at her as if she was speaking in jokes. "So you do care about the people around you! I was right all along! You wouldn't leave behind those old crackpots for nothing... what are you going to do about them anyway?" Kloun now looked nervous as he realized that the exorcists were only here for Aleks because of his abilities. "You're not going to make us leave them behind are you?" He asked, weakly thumbing his hammer.
Katrina nervously thought to herself, desperate for some kind of plan. "Well, I'm sure we won't have to leave them behind, considering that they are technically Aleks's guardians. Maybe we can take them along, Zane?" She asked, somewhat worried that the boy and his dolls would be unwilling to come if his parental figures could not accompany him. "The truth is, the Akuma likely won't be interested in this entire village as soon as we leave. They're only here for the innocence, and won't bother your guardians. It's likely we will have to face all of the hiding Akuma when we try to leave for the Black Order, they may not stay here at all." She explained, hoping that her point would reassure the trio. "So, if we left, the people here would be safe?" The clown asked, hoping to find something good from the mess.

"They would be safe from the Akuma if you left." Zane nodded. "But if you believe they must be brought with us, we can only take them to another town. They won't be allowed at the order." He sighed. This boy might give them a bit more work, but they needed to get going. "We'll keep everyone safe."

Aleks gave a small nod, and Kloun began to pack up a few items. "I'll be sure to tell the guardians, they'd at least like to know why we're leaving." He said as Erna grumbled to herself. "I'm sure everything will be better when we leave. At least the Akuma will stop bothering your old man, right?" The doll tried to cheer his master up, who only gave a weak nod in response to his friend's words. "Well, if it would mean that the village will be cleared of Akuma when we leave, then I'll go." Erna growled, refusing to look the exorcists in the eye. "So you do care?" Kloun squeaked, bringing his head close to the other doll who quickly slapped him away. "No, I just want to kill the Akuma once they expose themselves. They can't stay in hiding forever if they're going to try and kill us all." She explained with a cruel smirk.
"Either way, we have to hurry. It's likely they're on their way right now, and if we don't want a flat out brawl here in the house, we better leave now." Katrina urged, remembering how the Akuma's attacks on her increased when she considered joining the Order. Kloun nodded, tossing the suit cases on the table, and running upstairs. "This will probably take a few minutes, I don't think the father will exactly be happy." He yelled as his spotted suit disappeared up the stairs. After a few moments passed, and the wait for Kloun to return continued, Aleks left his seat at the table to closely inspect the two exorcists that had decided to visit him. He never imagined that he would be accompanied by such strange people, and especially not that they would have come for him.

Zane watched as the clown packed up. This was bizarre. These dolls were the innocence in life. Something he had never seen. They also seemed to speak to the boy as a friend and speaker for him. They also were polar opposites. The clown seemed good and bright, while the porcelien doll was rude and dark. As the clown left he looked at the boy before hearing a hammering on the wall. Then he heard the sound of guns locked and loaded. "Get down!" He grabbed the boy and doll as the wall blew apart, debris flying over them, one hitting Zane in the side of the head. If his head hadn't been there, the boys would have been the target. "Katrina! Get up a wall for defense!"

Katrina didn't waste a second before creating her powerful energy shield in front of the group. She kicked out a leg of the table to make it fall on its' side, providing more defense for those on the floor. Aleks struggled a little on the floor, trying to get back up to his feet so that he could hide or run, but Erna simply grabbed his collar and dragged his body along with hers out of under Zane.
"Don't ever touch me again, sickly human being." She threatened, despite the fact that Zane had saved her from suffering a few minor injuries. "How many are there? I can barely pinpoint where the attack is directed from! There's got to be at least two or three!" Katrina shouted over the ruckus, as she hoped that they would have a better plan once they could determine just how many Akuma had learned of their location.
Meanwhile, crashing could be heard upstairs, as Kloun had broken one of the windows on the top floor that refused to open. He jumped outside, his wooden hammer ready as he fell. "Come to papa! Let's have fun!" He yelled as he aimed his body for what he assumed was the Akuma's head, swinging his weapon wildly through the air. Kloun was never a really good fighter, but he had a good feeling that he would be fine, as his body was easily replaceable, and he had an element of surprise in the attack. He just hoped that none of the Akuma's weapons aimed at his face.

Zane could feel blood go down the side of his head. He saw Erna dragging Aleks toward safety. He ignored her remark and stood up, pulling out his revolver and activating the innocence. "Katrina! I'll take care of these ones. You get Erna and Aleks to safety!" He started firing toward the akuma. One blew up from Klouns attack, but another started firing toward him.

Katrina gave a quick nod, and followed Zane's command, leading Aleks and Erna to safety, despite Erna's many glares and complaints. She guarded their way to the back door, when suddenly Aleks left her side and rushed up the stairs to grab his father. Erna simply sat down, now no longer caring for how the results of the consequences would add up, while Katrina rushed up as well, trying to at least defend the boy while they grabbed his last living relative. "What fools, let the Akuma inside. It's easier to strangle the life out of them when they've moved closer." Erna growled lowly, as she was immune to most of the effects of the Akuma's artillery.
Kloun gave a small screech when the bullets fired at him, putting his hands and hammer in front of his porcelain face to keep it safe. Several of the bullets damaged his soft body, as they pierced right through the fabric and cotton, but he felt no pain for there were no nerves throughout his body. Trying to move quickly to make things easier for the exorcists inside, Kloun pulled away large chunks of the wood that barricaded Zane's path to the rest of the Akuma. He ducked, and shouted loud enough so that Zane could hear him. "Fire in the hole! Shoot quick mister exorcist! Get rid of the rest of them before they hurt little master!" Cotton and stuffing was flying about everywhere, as he was hardly able to shrink down enough to make his body hard to hit. He couldn't help but feel angry that Erna refused to help, when his body felt like it was going to be torn in two.

Zane aimed more carefully and shook his head. "No time." He activated his guantlet innocence and ran straight into the Akuma's fire. Once close enough he grabbed one of the cannons on the Akuma and slammed it into another. Both exploded and left piles of rubble. "Kloun, hold on." He said seeing the damage. "I'll fix you up good and new."
